THE ROLE

We are looking for a web development intern. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated recently graduated student interested in pursuing a career in web development and is excited to work with our in-house development team. You will be working with our back-end and front-end web developers building custom websites and applications, using HTML 5, CSS, Angular JS, Boot Strap, SAS etc for some of the world's best known brands. This internship is located at our offices in Wroclaw Poland and you must be able to work on-site. This internship is a full time based opportunity. This is a paid internship. We welcome foreign students who can acquire work authorization to apply for all of our internships.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You will be a self starter, problem solver and creative thinker able to adapt to current workflows and best practices. You will be aligned to the company’s goals and objectives and be eager to learn from the vast experience on offer. You will show the initiative to get things done and being a team player.

You will have a strong knowledge semantic HTML5 markup, CSS, web accessibility standards, and cross browser compatibility. A working knowledge Javascript and jQuery and past experience in creating responsive layouts. Great to have knowledge of Vue.js, Angular, or ReactJS, familiarity with Photoshop, experience with front end frameworks like Bootstrap, experience with Wordpress themes.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: minimum 1 years web development experience. Experience with HTML 5, CSS 3, Javascript and JQuery.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE: CSS pre-processors, ideally Sass. Experience with Sass libraries, ideally bourbon, and working within Media Queries. Collaborating using Github.

BONUS EXPERIENCE: Object-orientated approach to CSS such as BEM, SMACSS. Backend knowledg esuch as ASP.net or PHP. UI workflow tools such as Bower, Grunt and Yeoman. Experience in using Photoshop.
